BPL's on-site training plinth gives trainee installers the opportunity to acquire "hands on" installation experience in a site simulated environment.

Bridge Parapets Ltd. train their installers according to the company's own two and a half day on-site parapet installation training course. This includes:-

• Quality and Safety standards
• Health and safety
• Arrival on site
• Traffic management
• Edge protection systems
• Core drilling
• Pull testing
• Installation of new parapets
• Repairs to damaged parapets
• Replacement of old parapets
• Leaving site

The course entails one day of classroom learning, followed by one and a half days site simulation training in all aspects of parapet erection. It aims to be fully comprehensive and to emphasise the importance of safety and achieving excellence while adhering to the requirements of NHSS 5b.
